• LIKES
Evangeline is a gentle woman who just loves to sing and dance, she is her happiest when she is performing with her companion Dalphi. Quite the secretive mysterious type she like giving other people riddles. Her favourite colors are black, white and grey. Other than that she likes nothing more then to sit with Dalphi and read a good book somewhere warm. When it comes to indoors versus outdoors she is very much an indoor person, which means she enjoys command performances more then just playing out on the street. Her favourite instrument of choice is the harp but she can also play the flute.

Dalphi likes to keep to herself. Her one treasure in life is her 'master' Eva, whom she cares for more then anything in the world. Other then that Dalphi enjoys scaring off all men who try to flirt with Eva. Her favourite treat is seasoned venison but normally she enjoys going out to hunt for her own meals. Unlike some other pokemon performers Dalphi loves to show off, especially when it is with Eva. But on a normal day she doesn't mind just sitting with her head in Eva's lap while Eva reads a book. In contrast with Eva's indoor personality Dalphi much rather prefers the outdoors.

• DISLIKES
Eva has very few things that she dislikes but what she does dislikes she utterly hates which includes; misogynistic men, cowardly women, being hit on by complete strangers and pears. Anyone that threatens or tries to harm Dalphi is also on her hate list. Her hatred of pig headed men comes from the fact she is one of the lower class and is used to dealing with high held nobility. This also in turn makes her dislike the guards that work for them. She isn't a fan of many things that are considered 'frilly', especially in the color pink.

Dalphi is highly protective of Eva which leads her dislike the majority of the male gender, human and gijinka alike. She also won't eat any vegetables even if she is starving, not unless it is a last resort. Also hates all the silly costumes other pokemon in her position wear, and would bite anyone who tried to put a bow on her.

• PERSONALITY
Evangeline believes in no one but herself and Dalphi, while a gentle woman she hardly trusts anyone and never right away. Liking to keep to herself most of the time so she can retreat into her books as a way of staying unharmed by the cruelty of the world. She would do anything for Dalphi, since she has known Dalphi since she was a child and treats Dalphi more like a sister then a pokemon. She likes being secretive because it allows her to fools others, allowing her to distract them with riddles and guessing games. That way she can leave them confused and unable to see her for who she really is. Her true passions lay in both song and music, while she can play the harp she finds just playing the harp too stoic an action. Constantly wanting to be in motion, this habit leads her to have a very 'go with the flow' mindset. In the matters of family she has no care for her immediate family and knows firsthand that even family can betray you. Her love of reading comes from the fact that she wishes to learn about the world and be less ignorant then the general masses, this was inspired by her past to find out all she can about pokemon. She would be devastated if anything were to happen to Dalphi because Eva loves her companion much more dearly then any 'pet' and would do ANYTHING to make sure that Dalphi would be safe. When she makes a friend she is a very loyal person and willing to stick by their side through anything that is provided they are always honest with her. If anyone betrays her then it is very hard for her to manage any forgiveness for the offender, unless the offense was justified.

Dalphi is an independant soul, while her greatest companion is Eva she still is a very stubborn pokemon. In the end though she does trust Evangeline's judgement in most things, but not men. When it comes to men Dalphi just views them as a threat to Eva because she doesn't want Eva to get hurt. Even though she is a human's companion she tends to act a bit like a wild pokemon because she enjoys hunting and the outdoors. Hunting is an essential skill to Dalphi, she rarely indulges in treats even from Eva because she wishes to maintain her skills and not get to 'tame'. While rough around the edges she softens around the people she likes into a much more amiable personality. When it comes to performing she enjoys it but will not permit anyone putting any sort of frilly costume on her, including Eva. When it comes to other pokemon her reaction to them is varied, larger pokemon are often met with defensive growls until it is proven they are no longer a threat. When it comes to baby pokemon in their earliest evolutions she is actually very kind and nurturing, even if they baby annoys her. Food is not something she is likely to share with any pokemon unless she is interested in them as a mate.

• HISTORY
Evangeline was raised in a merchants household in the kingdom of Persephoneia, the youngest child of 3. Her life was like any other child until she turned 5 years old for that was when she would meet the pokemon that would change her life forever. On her birthday her father came home from a very long voyage and returned with a small box inside was a pokemon egg. Immediately Eva loved the little egg and begin a long path of responsibility to take care of it till the egg was ready to hatch. The pokemon that was supposed to be hatched from the egg was a little growlithe but there must have been some kind of a mix up because instead of a growlithe it was an eve that was born. Eva didn't care about that though, she had a pokemon companion of her very own so she couldn't be any happier. But the problem was that Eva grew up in a very small town that was very far away from the capital and unlike many of the other cities this one was populated by humans. It was strange to even see a gijinka because their town was hidden in a remote area of the kingdom, making the townsfolk very ignorant of the rest of the world. Gijinka bondings were rare and seen as great signs of misfortune and wicked sorcery even strange pokemon were regarded with fear. Even though merchants and travellers that passed through may have tried to say otherwise, many naysayers to their purist ways were chased out of the town.

So it came to pass that both Eva and Dalphi grew up together, and one night under the full moon on the night of the lunar festival as Eva danced suddenly Dalphi burst into light. It shocked many people frightening even Eva, but it was simply Dalphi's evolution from an evee into a umbreon. For a moment Eva was scared to even touch Dalphi but after a moment she recognized her old friend and just hugged her companion happy that she had evolved. The rest of the town however was not as excited for a small few remembered the old tales about the dark pokemon and viewed them as curses upon the land. Eva didn't realize anything was truly wrong until she was 16 and there was a great drought in her village, the people turned on her pokemon claiming it was the cause of this because they had seen Dalphi playing in the wheatfields. Of course Eva wouldn't hear a word of it and when her mother asked if she would be willing to part with Dalphi if only to satisfy the peasants she refused, Dalphi was her bestfirend how could they ask her to just give her up? It was only a matter of time before more and more misfortunes kept on happening, until eventually it was beginning to turn into a mob scene. Nothing big happened though until one day Eva was struck with a rock by a boy, Dalphi snapped and chased the boy biting his hand. Immediately the crowd turned ugly, Eva had to grab Dalphi and flee from the angry crowd fearing for her companions safety. When she got home her mother was furious, the two of them fighting over the matter all throughout the night. Eva knew that everyone just wanted something to blame for hard times it wasn't Dalphi's fault because Dalphi didn't even know how to battle or use her moves yet. Her mother would hear none of it and separated the two of them, locking Dalphi in a cage for the night. It was then at midnight that Eva made the big choice… she ran away from home and took Dalphi with her knowing that no one from such a small town would understand. And so she escaped with her pokemon under the cover of darkness the pair ran out into the forests, they were never seen in their home town again.

It was then that Eva began her career as a street performer…. though times were hard on everyone. They had to do a lot to change from a pampered life to one of complete poverty and independence. Dalphi began to hunt out in the wilds so that she could provide for herself that way Eva would only need to feed herself. With some hard work and luck they managed to survive their first winter together. After that things began to get much better as Eva honed her skills as a performer. It was nice to find minor acceptance from strangers, no one bothered to fake friendliness to her because they were the bottom of the totem pool. It wasn't an easy life but it was good and because they only stayed in one place for short periods of time no one had time to question why Eva was traveling with such a dark pokemon. This life continued for a few more years that is until Eva began to get more and more higher paying jobs, after that it was simply a matter of finding a place to rest their heads. After a lot of reading and consideration beforehand Eva choose the land of Tunlio to call there home, having heard from her father as a child that it is a land noted for its dark pokemon. Even though now she knows that to be just a story from her father, she still loves the land and finds it the best place for her. Sheand Dalphi leave the kingdom from time to time so that they may perform else where, not to mention it allows Eva to update her library.

Physical Appearance: Eva has a decorative tattoo of a rose with borders that spanned her entered back and is done in a special red ink, she got it after having too much to drink at a festival one night.

Family: Eva has two elder sisters both of them married off when she was a adolescent.

Important: Eva's father wants his daughter back and has put out a bounty to return her home, unharmed.
